Mary Tedesco, Co-Host/Genealogist on the PBS television series ‘Genealogy Roadshow’ will be the keynote speaker at the Friday evening Hall of Fame Awards banquet, as well as a featured workshop presenter on Saturday morning. Her presentation for Friday night is titled “Have Pins, Will Travel: Tales from the Road with DAR!” – special stories and fun anecdotes from her experiences giving genealogy presentations at DAR events in seven states and at NSDAR Continental Congress.
On Saturday morning Mary will address “Good Migrations: Documenting our Ancestors’ Migrations within the USA”. Effective research and documentation of our ancestors’ migrations is an essential element of many lineage society applications. This presentation will cover sources and strategies for linking the present to the past one family line at a time through migration and relocation.

In addition to being a Co-Host / Genealogist on “Genealogy Roadshow”, she is the Founder of ORIGINS ITALY, a genealogical research company specializing in Italian genealogy and heritage travel to Italy. Mary is the co-author of “Tracing Your Italian Ancestors” published by Moorshead Magazines. In addition to her Italian ancestry on her father’s side, she has deep American roots on her mother’s side of the family. Mary is a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She also serves a Councilor of New England Historic Genealogical Society. Mary holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University’s Center for Professional Education.
